We have always had interior designers on the staff of Purcell Miller Tritton as well as architects. Much of the work we do is specialised interior design work of a scholarly nature to recreate period interiors. This will often involve both physical detective work in the form of paint sampling and academic research. However to transform a paint scrape into a fully worked up interior requires considerable design flair and for more extreme schemes the ability to convince the client that the end result will be worth the cost!
As well as historic work we also offer a full interior design service both for commercial and domestic interiors. In particular we have completed a significant number of country houses where we have been responsible for the selection of all the colour schemes, soft furnishings, carpets and curtains and where we have also supervised the delivery and placement of furniture and the final dressing of the house.
