Over the years we have worked on an extraordinarily diverse range of projects. The four photographs show a small selection – new stove enamelled 2m diameter sundials for Houghton Hall, the repair of the carved tympanum at Wimpole Hall, the installation of a new screen in All Saints Church, Oakham and new furniture for the central hall at the National Gallery.
This has given us an unparalleled knowledge of specialist craftsmen and conservators. Where problems fall outside our own area of expertise we can generally recommend someone who has the relevant experience. In the recent preparation of a conservation plan for Heaton Hall we used as our sub-consultants specialists in the conservation of furniture, textiles, paper, easel paintings, wall paintings and metalwork as well as the more conventional mechanical, electrical, structural and fire engineers and security experts.
We have recent experience of working with stone carvers, letter carvers, wood carvers, clock repairers, artists, monument conservators, museum designers, ecologists, catering consultants and many many more!
