The Rocket House Museum is a part of the Cromer Pier Regeneration Project, a major European funded programme of works which will restore, repair, conserve and improve the historic seafront. The proposal for the new Rocket House Museum incorporates a new RNLI museum and restaurant, new toilets and disabled facilities. A lift from the town will make access to the beach easier for wheelchairs and small children.
The museum will house the HF Bailey lifeboat, which will be moved from the existing nineteenth century boathouse. This boathouse will then become a new inshore boat station.
